I spent two full hours perusing the website’s videos, blogs, and articles. I love this message. As much as people deny it, or don’t really see the value, body image is so utterly important but the mass media has distorted the image of ‘beauty’ so much that there have to be such campaigns as Dove’s “Campaign for Real Beauty.” Why do we need campaigns that tell us to love ourselves? Shouldn’t we already know that?

Like 99% of the girls I know, I suffer from body-conscious weight issues, too. So today (and everyday), love.your.curves.
